This will show you how to cast a circle in a simple form.

The first step is to set up your circle by getting some objects to represent the four directions: North, East, South and West, these can be items such as candles or crystals.

Then you will have to say the words of power like this: say to the North (you can point your wand at north) and say: "The Guardians of the North, welcome to my/our circle."

Then move to the South and say: "The Guardians of the South, welcome to my/our circle."

Do the same for the East: "The Guardians of the East, welcome to my/our circle."

Finally turn to the West and say: "The Guardians of the West, welcome to my/our circle."
Once all directions have been called, you have completed the circle.

 

When you want to close the circle begin by turning to the North and say: "Guardians of the North, thank you for coming to this circle."

Turn to the South and say: "Guardians of the South, thank you for coming to this circle."

Turn to the East and say: "Guardians of the East, thank you for coming to this circle."

Finally, turn to the West and say: "Guardians of the West, thank you for coming to this circle."
Once you have thanked each direction, your circle is now closed and you have done the whole ritual.
