What an aura is.

Every living thing has an aura. if you look close and hard you will be able to see it. For beginners you might want to start by looking at your own aura.  This can be easier when standing in front of something white.

Your aura is what helps you with your magic. A aura can help others know what people or animals are feeling just by the colors.
