This Article will be discussing terms, and moon phases. For thsoe who've never praticed magick before.

Terms and phrases:

1)"Casting your circle": When people say this phrase, it means setting up the space and material you're going to use in your spell. (Candles, inscence, herbs, ect.)

2)"Calling the quaters/calling the watchtowers": This means calling the ancient guardiens to guide, and protect you from harm(such as a dark energy)or anything else that may throw you off from the spell.

The article on calling the watchtowets will be on chapter two of my guide.

3)"Setting up the Alter": When you're setting up your alter, you're putting the main candle(s)/object infront of you to cast your spell. The object doesn't always have to be a candle. It can also be a figure of a God/Goddess you specifically want help from.

4)"God and Goddess candle": These candles are recommened for use in ALL spells regardless on whether it's dark or light magick. They cannot be just random candles either. The colors of the God and Goddess candles are white(God Candle) and pink(Goddess Candle). The Goddess candle will always be on your left, while the God candle will be on your right. I personally reccomend chosing specific candles you use only for the God and Goddess.

Moon phases:

1)New moon: This is the time when the moon is fully dark. This moon is best for new beginnings, fresh starts, optimism, hope and faith. Let's say you and your best friend started a huge arguement and you stop talking and you want to make it up. You'd do a spell for you two to come back together on a new moon.

2)Waxing moon: This is the time when the moon's glow is GROWING into a full moon. This is the best time for building, accomplishments, creativity, strength, growth and learning, positive transformation. So let's say you want to succed in something, (anything) you'd do a spell to gain what you desire on the night of a waxing moon.

3)Full moon: The name of this moon explains it all. The moon is fully glowing and is the best time for any spell but mostly abundance, harvest, wish-fulfillment, manifesting desires, sexuality, achieving all dreams, protection and love. You can simply do a spell for a wanted relationship or a wish.

4)Wanning moon: This is the time when the moons glow is decreasing. This is the best time for letting go, clearing away, cleansing, releasing, shedding old patterns, undoing bindings, opening up problem-knots, making space and undoing bonds you don't happening (whether to you or others.)

5)Dark moon: This moon is like the new moon(Is the same actually) but you can use it for rest, peace, deep wisdom, divination, contacting the guru within, letting things die away completely.

If you have any questions, don't be shy to message me and ask. :)

Blessed be.
