Casting a circle with herbs and crystals(rocks and plants) representing and offering to the Elements for their energy.

A Circle may be prepared in Ritual at any time with candles, crystals and herbs and by calling in the elemental energies: Earth Air Fire and Water. Akasha is known as the fifth element and spiritual power that permeates the universe and the energy of which the Elements formed. Thus the energy holding the circle is of Akasha the fifth element. Casting a circle with special dedication to the five elements is desirable. Sometimes candles are used to mark the four quarters in representation of the elements as earth, air, fire and water. White or colored candles may be used: A green candle for the North, a yellow candle for the East, a red candle for the South and blue for the West. Earth being of the North, air of the east, fire of the south, and water to the western side of the circle. Rocks or stones may be placed around the candles or by themselves with properties coinciding with the elements & sides of the circle. (Note:The strongest circle will be raised with burning incense while walking the perimeter with each elements energies invited into the ritual with their burning incense.)
