How to Read the Shells

This technique of using seashells for divination is used for answering yes or no questions. To use this method you will need three cowrie shells and a question at hand. Shuffle them between your palms and cast them onto the floor. If all are heads down that would equal a zero. You're able to cast again two more times if you keep getting a zero, but you don't have too. Though, you should stop casting when you get at least one shell facing upward. The number of the three shells facing upward will be your answer.

First throw:

0: No.

1: Weak yes.

2: Strong Yes.

3: Powerful yes.

Second throw:

0: Strong no.

1: Maybe, if you overcome obstacles and delays.

2: A weak yes if you overcome obstacles and delays.

3: A solid yes if you overcome obstacles and delays.

Third throw:

0: Powerful No.

1: Obstacles, delays, and oppositions, and if you get it, it will be worthless to you.

2: Obstacles, delays, and oppositions, and if you get it, you will not want it after all.

3: Obstacles, delays, and oppositions, and if you get it, it will end in a disaster.
