And wouldn't that make them more personal / better?

Long ago I tried making a trading card game and even though I'm a talented freelance graphic designer, I didn't actually have any monetary means to get anywhere, and decided that it would be incredibly hard to compete with YuGiOh and Pokemon and Magic Gathering anyway (Rest in peace childhood dreams).

With that I was trying to get into divinitation and specifically tarot reading. But since I don't have a job yet I've been wanting to wait till I do before buying my own.

If I knew all the cards to make, could making my own work the same? As I write this I am beginning to feel the answer is yes because the existing tarot cards had to have been made by someone anyway. But would personalized decks be "better" to use for myself and readings as well?

Also do they need to be made specifically because all I can do is print them on standard deck material (as you would find in any solitar card game) Just found how I'd save myself money perhaps and I had just done a money spell to save my savings until I get a job. What do ya know.
