I suppose I?ll launch into a story. I, like many other people on these forums, have come for some help/advice in some way. 3 years back I met a very interesting shaman from... I believe the bora bora tribe? (Sorry if my tone of writing is too scholarly 😆) anyway, he told me of many things with this world saying that everything is filled with spirits, the good and spirits existing in things that harm or help humans (I think anyway, he was difficult to understand.) while I have heard things like this before, something about the way he saw the world caused me to question my grounds in magic. What exactly is magic? Why is there so much variety, so many different schools of thought? He carried three ?holy? stones that he said that nobody was allowed to see, he also carried a staff, which was somewhat important? I am simply asking the questions I didn?t get to ask him, what are these things? Why are they important? I disagree with what he said of white and black people going to different heavens, but some of the things struck a chord with me. Is he perhaps right? Even more so, should I go back once I become a full adult to study him more despite the long distance? I doubt you can answer all these questions, I apologize. But could you help the best way you can? Thanks
