Hi I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about alternate realities/parallel universes/alternate timelines. As about 2 years ago I have two conflicting memories of the same event. There was a very significant event near where I live in Watertown, NY (which is also home to the Thompson Park time vortex) and I have two memories of the same event and the false memory of the event is the path I followed and the real memory of the event is fragmented and got erased. I'm not sure how to explain it && I apologize if this is confusing. In my memories there was an important event and I remember driving by the event and all of my memories after that event follow the path that I drove by and had nothing to do with this event. However I remember very vividly being at the merchandise tent across the street from the event and I remember seeing someone there, a stranger, and looking at some of the merchandise and that is all I remember. I am 100 % positive I went to the event and was at the merchandise tent, it is not a dream and I am 100 % certain that I was there. However the timeline I followed was driving by the event which is not what happened, but that is the path in my reality that I followed after the event (event though I know I was there but cannot recall the entire thing). If anyone knows anything about this PLEASE let me know. This happened in April 2016 and I feel like I went down an alternate path/entered an alternate reality. I believe this may have some relation to mind control/embedded memories/false past reality/parallel universe/illusion spell etc. If anyone has any ideas or knows anywhere I could find some answers please let me know, such as books, youtube videos, physics theories, anything etc. please let me know. Also like I said I live near the Thompson park time vortex in Watertown NY so I am not sure if possibly there was a time loop or something and I have experienced this reality twice or something along those lines or the time vortex affected this in some other way. I would appreciate insightful answers (i.e. I am not looking for answers such as maybe this is a dream etc.) I am 100 % positive that there is something going on in this situation as I have 2 conflicting memories and the real one...the one that I know for a fact happened somehow no longer exists and I followed a different path.
