i'm not sure where this should go category wise, so i chose misc.
recently i read a book which brought back some memories of peculiar things that happened to me, and i'd like to ask a question or two about it.
keep in mind that this happened a while back and was frequent, but hasn't happened again.
I would talk to someone or do something and i'd feel this strong sense of deja vu. Now i know that deja vu is pretty common but these feelings were very strong. The strangest of these are the last few deja vu 'moments' i had and the reason for me posting this. i would be in a certain scenario and get the deja vu feeling but i'd also get this strong feeling that i've dreamed it all before, and that everything was happening as it were in my dream. i didn't think much about it until now.
i read somewhere that it's connected to psychic experencies.

Has anyone experienced this before?
is it a psychic thing?
can it be 'practiced' or made stronger if that makes sense?
