I was doing some looking around on some Christian based profiles to see if there was any way I could full proof strengthen the presence of the Lord in my life by summoning angels. Now as I read over these "prayers" I noticed something dangerously similar to those chants, to the chants used to summon demons or inflict a spell on someone.

The Bible in itself is quite misleading and contradictory on that aspect. If the mere difference between being faithful to God and faithful to a demon is merely changing the names of who you're calling out to in the chant, then why is it taught to no practice in the first place? I am a Catholic and I'm sort of on a religious streak, and I am in no way trying to ask that people see things from my point of view, nor am I asking that they should pursue the craft based on my assumptions, but what I would like to know, if it is really that easy?

Can you swap out the name of a demon or an alternative God for Jesus to cast certain spells? Now religiously speaking, you technically can so long as it positively affects the flock as a whole-not just yourself. You cannot call upon The Lord to summon a blizzard or aid in a spiteful spell, for that is a sin. Because it focuses on you and no one else. That is what the Bible teaches. If you're going to do something drastic, utilise that energy to help people. Not just yourself.

But let's say, if I found another spell here that will increase my closeness to God. To summon an angel. All you really need is thought and faith. But go to a Christian based spell page and they embellish such a simple method.

So why the big difference, if the methods for both are too similar to ignore, yet one will insist the other is the wrong method.
