This may be an ignorant question, but I have been wondering this for months and I cannot figure out an answer after tons of research.

Many things affect spells, such as the days of the week. The days of the week can be more meaningful to certain spells.

We all know midnight is the "witchy hour," and it is (usually) best to do cast a spell or preform a ritual at this time.

For me, when planning to preform a ritual or cast a spell, I consider all of these things. But I have run into some trouble.

I always think of midnight as, well, night. (Yes, I know it is a transition to a new day.)

To put it into perspective, let's say I had planned to cast a spell on Wednesday at midnight. Well, midnight is the transition, so would I do it at 12am on Wednesday or at 12am on Thursday, since the midnight (in the way I see it) would be at the normal cycle of night.

Thanks in advance :)
