Deities are really interesting beings. It isn't until now that I know that they are there, that they aren't myths. Most pagans and wiccans have close relationships with their deity, either if its with the God and the Goddess or any other deity. I would love to have a special bond with a deity. I want someone to guide me in my life, a being that can help me and protect me; a reciprocal bond.

How can I get started? (I've read of meditation, so any tips if so?)

I already know the deity I feel the most connected, and its Isis. I didn't choose her because she is a cool goddess or so. In fact, I've known of her for years, but never really thought of worshipping her. Suddenly, I felt so connected to her, at the point that I'm actually feeling her presence as I type.

Tell me about your relationships with your deities, how did you "meet", tips to gaining their favor, etc. If someone worships Isis, then tell me what she likes and dislikes, etc.
