That being said, often are used as wands in practice. They help as a gateway/portal to increase the energy put into spells and our work in general. I have 3 on my alter~ as I work on my elements and their positions, I obtain one for the elements- to help with the channeling (for me). I find a stillness that comes over me as I place it in my hand. Close my eyes and breathe. Breathing out all negative energy and breathing in pure positive light.
