Kinesis: Movement or Motion.
Kenitic Energy: Energy that a body possesses by virtue of being in motion.

Given these definitons from the dictionary we can see that kinesis involves motion. When you tack the word pyro on to that word (pyrokinesis) you are speaking of putting fire into motion or building energy through the motion of fire. Since fire is created through the combustion of elements ie the creation of energy we can see that these two words really don't make a lot of sense when combined. Now can we work with fire energy yes. Can we use that energy in our workings yes. But it is impossible at current to put fire into motion creating kinetic energy.
