This is a continuation of my previous posts on the hermetic principals.

In the second principal we learned that there are two aspects of magick. Spiritual and physical. The two go hand and hand one energy is converted into the other and visa versa (as above so below.) The third principal The Principal of Vibration describes this aspect. We use tools in our practice to facilitate this. The wand is nothing but a piece of wood, the chalice a nice decorated cup, the athame a pretty knife and rocks? Yet we use them to direct energy toward a specific task when we do a working. The wand represents the element of air? How is it that a piece of wood can manipulate air energy? Perhaps there is some connection between this wood and air that we don't see, I mean branches are in the air arn't they?

Would someone care to eleaborate on how it is that a simple stick can connect too and manupulate air energy to your desired task?
