Sometimes i astral project without knowing it. It took me a while to recognize the signs. I had been fevereshly trying to do it but didnt feel like i was, until i realized i was trying too hard. I guess the pressure to measure up as someone with abilities, and feared that if i could not astral project then all was lost for me concerning majic. After i admited defeat and decided to come back to it later, is when i realized i had been doing it all along without knowing it, being inherrantly majical, and tried again, knowing the feeling of when i was acheiving it. I was able to float up there without any effort at all! By "inherrantly majical" i mean to say that my folks did not raise me in an organized religion or with any set spiritual beleifs. My truths are my own.
