Acquaintance with Darkness is a place where those who dwell in darkness, in moonlight, and in starlight are welcomed. It is a place for people who find comfort in the fall of night, a place for people who feel joy in the dark corners of the world and mind. We are those who live for the death of the daylight and embrace the energies, deities, and spirits of the night.

We are those who do not follow a straightforward path of love and light only, but we are also not those whom shroud themselves in darkness for a cool or scare factor. We take on darkness as a way of life, not as something which is to be driven out by the light. Balance is important for some of us, and for others it is not something which we require in this or any life.

We are those with an acquaintance with darkness.

We do not accept those who would use the titles vampire, werewolf, mermaid, or anything else in a roleplay manner. We do not consider these titles overly true for individuals who attempt to use them in an honest manner, and we are willing to teach them different titles which are more fitting.
