If you want to encourage fairies to visit you, try putting a fairy house in the place of honor in the house. Fairy House not only shows fairies that you believe in them, it also shows that efforts are being made to expand their hospitality, and provide them with a fairy environment. Fairies are very grateful for all the special places you have reserved for them, and are much more inclined to communicate with you. House of the fairies and the surrounding area is considered sacred space, and can act as a gateway to Faerie. This particular house can be both a place to leave gifts for the fairies, and the place to do your fairy magic. Here, you can fly a fairy flag, display little fairy shoes and leave little things you think they might enjoy as a thimbleful of honey, cakes, or even a little 'beer! One important thingnever have iron anywhere near the fairy house as iron is poisonous to fairies. Your design of the house fairy can be as fancy or as simple as you want. It must be built with natural materials for the most part you found in nature or have on hand if you are a craftsman. some ideas are: wooden planks with skylights and scrap of copper added as decorative elements. Copper should be used because it is a favorite fairy metal and very attractive to them. Pixie houses can be constructed with moss, leaves, branches/twigs for added decoration. It may seem hard to do, but it was enough for two or three hours, the above items and a glue gun and it did! For artisans, I'll show you how simple this house, in a future post. Once you have your fairy house in place, be sure to welcome them, and occasionally send positive thoughts. Will not be long before they realize you have some new residents in your home! -RavinWolf-
