Pour 2 cups of water into the jar. Add 1 cup of salt to the jar of water then stir till disolved. Wave your wand while chanting "Salt be blessed with the power of protection. I call upon to protect my home from now and forever". Do this several times and put in each room of the house and bury one in your front yard and backyard.

Plausible, but requires an edit. You can make blessed/cleansing water by adding salt. Stir it clockwise as you charge it with Magikal energy and think of positive blessings. You can say a chant if desired. You can then place it in a spray bottle or dip your fingers in the water and sprinkle it around the house. Chanting would increase the spell. You should also have your doors and windows open so the negative energy can escape. Once finished, close the doors and windows to keep it out, and cast a protection to prevent it from returning. I would not pour salt water outside since the salt can harm the plants. I would instead sprinkle ground eggshells outside. Ground eggshells are safe for the environment and have cleansings/protective qualities.
