Lay down your circle, (put railroad spikes down in the 4 directions with the point out if desired), chant:
"As this circle down
None evil here maybe found
I am protected within
Enemies can't get me, they can't win
I step into this hallowed place,
darkness be gone and light give chase."
Step inside your circle, it will protect you without the Incantation, but it strengthens it. If desired lay down the brick dust, no enemy can cross it if they mean you harm.
Firstly, when casting a circle, you are standing inside it already, stepping through the barrier breaks it, so you should begin casting it around you. As for the spikes, they are simply markers for the quarters. You can use rocks, sand, candles, seashells, or anything else to help you see the circumference of the circle.
''As I lay this circle down,
No longer can evil here be found,
I am protected around me and within,
enemies can't get me, they can't win,
As I step into this hallowed space,
Darkness be gone and light give chase.''
I liked your spell. I just reworded if anyone is interested. Nice work RexValentine.
