This is a special tea mixture my grandfather and friend taught me that helps heal a sore throat and clear sinus pressure. This also helps your vocal chords gain a more mellow tone if used often.

I forgot the lemon juice but when I finished drinking this all my pain was gone. Tasty and effective!

Neat. I drink hot honey and lemons for my throat, never tried it with a tea, but my grandmother puts a spoonful of black currant jam at the bottom.

I would omit the sugar because you have honey. Charge the brew with energy and imagine it healing your throat as you sip.

Sounds neat as!

It is indeed. And it is a common remedy- at least around where I live. Honey is a well-known balm for irritated throats, and citrus is good for loosening the vocal chords. Not to mention citric acid is helpful for the body in general. Along with the vitamin 'c' that usually comes along with it in fruit and fruit juice.

My wife and I are more partial to the taste of lime, so we tend to substitute that to the same effect.
