Casting Instructions for 'Cat Instincts'
You will need the following items for this spell:
- 1 large leaf (works best if it has thin layer of frost)
- 2 small white stones
- 1 small stick
- 1 pine cone (large)
- 1 smaller leaf

Set the big leaf down while saying, "Bast, goddess of cats, give me the reflexes and instincts of the cat and I give you this offering." Put the pine cone in and say, "Give me long, soft hair, like the fur of a cat." Put the stick in and say, "Give me a strong, flexible structure like the cat." Rub the stones together, put them in and say, "Give me the nighttime sight of the cat, the vision is greater than mine."
Lastly, put the small leaf in and say, "And give me great hearing, to hunt down my prey." Place the offering in a sacred spot outside, and chant 3 times, "Hum-bay-gat-a." Then say once, "By the power of three, so mote it be!" By the next day, the offering should be gone. Wait a few days for the effects to take place.

Now physical is not possible with magick but instincts can be worked on or improved through magick so with a little tweaking this spell should be really good!
No, Wondiw, it isn't. Faith is a wonderful tool but it can't do the impossible. Saying it can leads to a lot of misinformation getting spread around.
Wondiw, is anything is possible, then it's possible for something to be impossible.
what does it mean if my offering isn’t gone by tomorrow?
If you left it outside, an animal might have taken it or it blew away. You might have contacted Bast, but you won't get cat powers. Magick is a natural energy that doesn't contradict nature, but you can work with Bast, so if she accepted your offering, she might be watching you.
You cannot gain cat powers.

And I take offence when books are banned from schools and public libraries. Just because something upsets you, does not mean the universe must bend to your will. This is a fact of Magik on the physical plane. You cannot gain cat powers. If you are willing to shift your expectations, you can discover a plethora of ways you can work with cats in your craft which are possible.
