Do any of the beauty spells work

Beauty spells? It depends. Glamours might have an effect, in a sense, for example. But no, none of the spells which claim to transform you or turn you into anything else will work; they're pure fantasy.

as prsona said, beauty spells can work, but not in the way you imagine. You can't say a chant and transform into a beauty queen. However, you can use spells to enhance your beauty, build your confidence, hide what you view as imperfections, and make others perceive you a certain way. [theoretically, a spell could help if you want physical change by helping you find a doctor, finance the surgery, and heal quicker]
