Through a lot of meditation and focus. Its easier to see that of others for some, than their own.

No matter what the color, auras are different to everyone and their perception of it. Using your third eye you should be able to have a glance of a persons aura by focusing on them.

Aura tends to change colour and often is a mixture of at least few colours at the same time. It is rarely one colour at once.

We are beings of certain personality and character, and we become increasingly attached to them with time. Same can be said also for emotions. When that happens, the aura tends to be more constant and can be one or two primary colours for longer periods of time. However, we are also social beings and others can influence our emotions and thoughts as well, which will result in change of that more constant tendency to few colours.

Some people have exceptionally strong aura and they also spread it little bit further than average. If someone less powerful, who does not know themselves well and is very easy to influence, steps into the aura of the stronger individual, parts of their aura will shift and change in colour.

I personally struggle to see(not with my physical eyes) my own aura, but I always have had this idea that its primary colours are reds, oranges and yellows. So my most natural aura colours are these, because they are also fitting to my personality and my usual emotional states.

You either can try to develop the skill to see auras, or can ask someone that is able to do so to watch you for some time to see what are your primary colours. Another option is just finding someone that makes Kirlian photography. You have to keep in mind that the photographs might differ or look very similar depending on your state at the time it was taken.
Do not jump on the conclusion that because they took one photography these are your primary colours.
