Alchemy?

Does anyone know how to build a kiln/furnace for alchemy? Preferably out of inexpensive materials, as i am on a Budget of about $700 a month, and most of that goes towards food and other expenses. Do not worry, I WILL BE SAFE and i will not mess with any toxic substances.

I believe that an oven could be used, but I'm not sure. So don't quote me on it!

Maybe you should check on YouTube for ideas on how to make one.

perhaps a couple garden pot stacked the right way with a fire underneath. A cooling rack used for cooking could be set up in an overturned pot with a fire set below it for smoking stuff. I Don't typically practice alchemy, so I'm not sure if this is even a practical way to solve the problem.

Hot enough to melt zinc, salt and things of that nature. I would also like it to be able to convert into an oven for cooking, because I will be short on space.

I looked on the internet for info on alchemical furnaces, and I could not find anything.

Part of the reason that you are not finding much is because a smelting furnace is a thing already.

And for reference, it is very different from a culinary oven, and much hotter, so you cannot interchange the two.
