Welcome to SoM, may I ask what you mean by "mermaid magic"? As stated, if you are knew to magic, you should consider reading more about "What magic is", there are quite a few good threads pinned in General to look at. Keep in mind, take information with a "grain of salt", not everything you read is true, not everything you read will apply 100% to you, magic isn't about accuracy, somethings that work for others, may not work for you.
