If the angry spirit(s)are in your house then what I would do first is smudge with a bundle of sage. Usually, you would start at the front door and work your way clockwise around the home. If it's malicious and stubborn and cleansing your home doesn't work, then I would go ahead and try banishing the spirit. Personally, I have never had to do this but there are plenty of exceptional resources on the site to help you do so. Agreed with neko. Smudging is a great way to hoover up any lingering negative energies. Sage, Sweetgrass, cedar, and raw (not cigarette) tobacco are all good agents for clearing the air. if you can make a blend of some or all of these that is great but not necessary. Sage and sweetgrass are usually the easiest ones to get.
While using the smudge to clear the darker energies, use the opportunity to set some ground rules for our home. A quick search online should give you some basic statements or prayers that you can use or adapt from. The lord's prayer is always a good standby if you have a Christian background as well. otherwise you just want to be sure you are making a from-the-heart declaration that only positive energies and beings may enter your space, and nothing else.
Other methods I have heard about involve burying four large-ish iron nails or grounding stones (like Onyx, jet, or obsidian) about a foot underground at the four corners of your house to ground and direct away offensive energies. In the case of the nails, you want them placed with the sharp tip pointing away from the center of the house and the head pointing towards the center of the house.
Similarly, placing some small decorative mirrors on the window sills helps 'reflect- away energies, and you can hang with's balls, sun catchers, dreamcatchers, and the like as well if you want to add a little decoration. Some stores sell small hexagonal mirrors for displaying crystals and such, placing one of those with an amethyst or other healing crystal at the center in the sun does wonders for promoting a positive home energy.
if you really have entities attached to you then look into a cut and clear spell. Those things like to amplify negativity, or whatever their agenda is.
Cut and clear and then start using protection stuff to keep it away. As stated above smudging is also helpful
Sage is my favorite also salt in your doorways. Amethyst, angelite, and blue lace agate are my favorite crystals. As long as the demon/evil spirit has not become physical, tell it to leave that it is not welcome. Be loud and state what is unacceptable. Reading from the Bible or calling for help right away could show weakness and make things worse
