Gathering the energy

Good day. I've visited several famous places of power and not once, but the power you get after the visit seems... To simply flow out of you like out of a broken glass.
Because of low energy it is not that easy to achieve anything, indeed, and that is why i ask the experts of this website if they know the way of increasing the basic level of energy. And not for a limit of time, but forever or for the time close to this spot.

There might be a couple of different things to consider with this. I have found this sort of trouble with holding on to energy from specific places can usually be attributed to a matter of perspective. The further away one tavels from a place they want to connect to, the harder it is to conceive that connection being valid. With a physically oriented mindset it can be hard to conceive how even being on the geographically opposite side of the world you might as well be standing there in person.

When you think about it, the sun is 149.6 -million- km from us (92.96 million mi). And yet the light and energy it produces gets to us, fresh and bright, in about eight minutes. Spend some time thinking about that scale and sheer velocity of movement. Then compare that to the entirety of the circumpherance of the earth and see how paltry-small of a ratio that is. Personally I have found that realizing just how inconsequential of a concept distance is went a long ways in helping me to connect with remote energy working.

The second issue may be a concept of treating yourself like a bucket, dipping yourself into the 'well' of energy from those places of power and then trying to carry it with you. Or like you are a battery 'charging up'. this treates the energy as a separate entity from yourself, so it becomes something you need to consciously hold on to. It also intrinsically creates a concept of a finite amount to be used up and, well, action follows thought. Why not instead treat yourself like a plug, and the place of power like a wall socket. Plug yourself in and have a continuing connection or line to channel the energy constantly through yourself. Treat the energy that you draw as becoming a part of you, its vibrations raising that of your own energy to higher levels as well- so that your energy and the channelled energy feed into eachother for the benefit of both. Try to move away from the idea of 'containing' or 'holding' the energy and just let it flow into and through yourself.

Practicing these concepts and perspectives should help in letting you connect to and draw from these places of power whenever you feel the need.

PS; Totally jealous. I have yet to be able to go see any significant places of power in person. of course that might be a good thing as Stonehenge is pretty heavily protected these days and i might get dragged into a detention cell for walking across the ropes to sit and meditate on the central dias.

Visit countries like transilvania. But do not take excursions, better find them themselves) and actually there is one place of power in the capital of ukraine, right in the center. It is called the Bald Mountain. (Maybe Bold, i always forget the right word that means hairless). The one that is situated on the station Vydubichi. There is a huge altar of neo-pagans that is placed where the original pagan idols were in the Xth century. It is a mystical place and even a bit spooky and dangerous.

Have shiver over my back every time i am there because the first time i was there, i saw a psycho in those woods who would talk to himself. So, when visit any place of that kind, better take some weapon or heavy stick and stay cautious. Thanks again. Advice for advice)

heh I shall indeed keep those places in mind! They are a little outside of my locale but one day I hope to get out of Canada to see a bit more of the world. And you were right with the first attempt. 'Bald' is the word for something without hair. ^_^
