I had recently had an idea concerning consciousness and how the body interprets it. I have come to realize that all these talks of the human brain producing consciousness does not make complete sense, as such I have pondered the subject for about a year now and had come to the conclusion that it acts "similar" to a radio wave of sorts and the body is a receiver, and maybe a projector, of some kind. This would mean that consciousness either exists all around us and is picked up through the brain and "programmed to fit that specific human mind, or it is broadcast from some unknown place in our universe or another dimention altogether; this could explain most supernatural and paranormal events, and might lend credibility to some forms of fortune telling or supernatural abilities like telepathy. what do you think? Any other ideas or theories? have a good day!

It is certainly a reasonable analogy. Another comparison referrs to it operating on an as-yet unknown level of the electro-magnetic scale. Logic being that the nervous system (and therefore the brain) runs on electric signals, and where there is electricity, there is an electric field being generated.
