You can find more information about the Tiger Rose at https://myfolia.com/plants/157-rose-rosa/varieties/143488-tiger

Rose petals can be eaten and are sometimes used to decorate salads and pastries. Always be sure, however, that the flowers have not been sprayed with insecticide or wash them thoroughly before you eat them.

The magical properties and associations of roses can be found at http://www.pagansworld.org/2012/05/hump-day-herbal-magic-rose/

Tiger roses, at least in England are regular roses in lots of different varieties that all have banded, striped petals that look like tiger stripes, it is a difference in colouration more than anything else.

However eating them will have the same results as eating regular rose petals which although you can do for some varieties intheform of candied petals, etc it is best not to eat any variety that is not specifically identified as an edible variety or those you find in gardens and florists that may contain toxins in the form of pesticides and herbicides.

Dreams can have meanings, but it is best not to take dreams too literally as they can lead you into trouble, especially when plants are involved that you may not know the potential dangers of eating.

In a nutshell, Take a look at the dream as a series of symbols, and interpret it first that way. Examine what the woman and tiger flowers might represent. it sounds like there are qualities you are being pointed towards that you will want to consider 'taking in'.

Try to look for other details as well. What color was the woman's dress? Did you get any sort of an impression of her identity? Even if it is generic like a friend, or guide, or if she felt parental, etc. What sort of environment were you in? Were there any features that rally stood out like a dominant color or landscape? Was there weather? The more detail you can dig out of the dream the more context you can give it and the symbols you find. it will also help in being precise. For example there are tiger-flowers and also tiger-lilies. there might be a distinction between the two.

Thanks for the help. Will think hard on what the meaning is behind it all.
