Yes, it would still be a valid experience in your reality, are you are as much entitled to have an opinion as anyone else.
Take a Deity for example, there are common ideas and symbolism and things that have worked for this person, or that person, that could be incorporated into one's work, while one develops their own beliefs, ideas, workings and experiences with said Deity, they will differ from the experiences of another, while the common, underlying knowledge is still there.
Hopefully this makes sense lol.

Well as long as my story has not been confirmed it remains fiction. I have picked up a lot of these spiritual books from the adult fiction section of the library. Again this is true.

I'm not too sure what 'story' you are referring to, but I will say this and be done with it:
People will have different experiences and opinions from each other, that does not make one any less right than the other.
So yes, you cam write down your opinions/experiences as valid.
