why does this site?

why does this site have spells that are complete lies and or utter nonsense. you can ask the people that made this site that there is nothing as wings you can grow on your back or talons you can grow out of the bones of your hand. does anyone know why this is? sure given this site does have some very useful spells but why allow the nonsense?

I imagine its because our knowledge of magic is constantly developing and improving. Things that were once considered fiction are sometimes proven to be true.
Take the lovecraftian pantheon. Until recently they were considered as nothing more than fiction, but through research and practice have been shown to exist.

The mods and petrarca dont have the time to go through all the fluffomancy. And even if they did, it would never end.

All members may post spells if they would like by joining spellcasters which is auto accept and all members are council position for that very reason. Personally I consider it magical darwinism. By using common sense, maturity, and intelligence one may easily sort the realistic/viable spell from the fantasy/make believe type.

It has been explained repeatedly over the years exactly why:

These fake spells, which should all be (though some are posted in incorrect categories) be in the fantasy and trick sections, draw traffic.

There are people who believe these are true, and that may help draw them to this site. That means hopefully ad revenue will help support this site. Not to mention that some of those people will stick around, read, and learn the truth. They may continue to study, and learn.
