Properties of forsythia?

I'm planning a ritual and I have a flowering yellow forsythia bush in my backyard. I looked in my Scott Cunningham herbalism book and in the herbalism articles on here but neither had forsythia in them. Can someone tell me what its properties are? Thanks!
