I'm not sure if this would be the correct forum but it seemed like the closest fit. Feel free to move me if it seems appropriate. Anyhow, I'm curious about something: Would a medium be able to contact someone's Higher Self who is still living, due to them being somewhat on the Other Side? I haven't heard anything about this and the idea popped into my head this morning. I'd like to hear my own Higher Self's advice, as well as potentially know how another person feels about me via their Higher Self or mine, and whether our fates will cross in the future. Unfortunately, I have trouble communing with my own Higher Self in a conscious way so if it were possible for a medium to help me that would be awesome. I think this kind of thing is unlikely but I'm still curious. Even advice from relatives who have passed on, in regard to my current situation would be great. I'd like answers from experienced mediums if possible but anyone who happens to be rather knowledgeable on this topic's answer will definitely be appreciated! Thank you so much. :-)
The answer will depend on many things. On the medium and how far open your Higher Self is to aid the process of communication.Your Higher Self cannot be "somewhat on the Other Side" for more than 24 hours. After that times has expired, it has to make the decision to return to the body or to pass to the other side. There are very few exceptions of that rule. And as long as your body, is alive you are not allowed completely to reside in the level of the dead/or any other level.No living being is allowed for long not even the mediums. Usually, it is not the medium that goes to the other side with their awareness. The spirits come to our level, especially if they have already have it in mind that they want to pass message directly to you or through someone else. The medium and/or shaman can try to travel with their more subtle bodies, but there are more rules to abide by for a living person than for human and other kind of spirits. Also a spirit might refuse to talk to you, your higher self might as well decline.
You need to expand your awareness to be able to connect to your Higher Self. It does not speak as your human body would or communicate like your mind would. It has to use some sort of symbolical, musical,imagery or emotional language. If you try to interpret it directly, and you do not have years of experience you will be unable to make sense of it. Took me 20 years to decode some of the messages passed to me from the spirits and my Higher Self. I tried and tried and none of the symbols made sense, until I did not collect a vast amount of knowledge and did not do a lot of work on the field. Also some of the symbols are very personal to you, and might mean something else to me. There is a lot of room for interpretation mistakes.In short, Higher Selves speak to each other with energy and then this energy has to be decoded like the enigma code back to some concept that the human brain is able to process and analyse. This will prove very hard task, if the two people in question are not very well developed spiritually and psychics themselves.But if they were they would know that their faith is to be together. That is how it happened for me and my partner. We both knew as soon as we saw each other that we are meant to be and stay together. In general the Higher Self of a person will only communicate what you are supposed to know in accordance with your current level of awareness. If you want to know more you would have to raise the level of the awareness. There is a popular saying that says- "When the student is ready the teacher comes along". Thus, when you are ready your Higher Self will find way to tell you what you need to know as long as you are ready not a second earlier or later.It is another case that it can take you years then to understand what was the meaning behind it.
