Today I bought a stone that's green from a wicca store "Candlewick", it's known to bring good luck but I'm not sure if I'm using it properly by wishing to find a dollar like today I found. I'm wondering also how to properly use it

From the sounds of it, you're aiming to use this stone as a luck amulet of sorts, yes?

I'd suggest cleansing it and then charging it with your intent.
Enchanting or Charging:
To enchant a talisman or amulet you would charge it with the energy that you would wish it to have. For example, if you had a ring that you wished to be empowered with protective energies you would visualize and feel it glowing with that power/energy. It's also a good idea to cleanse the item before enchanting it.
The processing of charging the item usually only takes a few minutes, and you should be able to feel if it is or isn't charged. Most of my items that I've done this with tend to give off an energy.

start by cleansing the stone [you should cleanse anything you buy because other people have touched it so their energy has rubbed off on it] then charge it with your energy/intent. it already has the natural ability to attract good luck/wealth but you'll focus the energy by charging it with your desired intent.

granted, don't get your hopes too high, it won't start raining money, but you will luck out by finding a dollar here, a dollar there, extra work, perhaps even an offer for a credit card or other money venture from the bank.
