Cleansing spell backfire?

Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum and to witchcraft.

Every time I do a cleansing spell, there is always something bad happening at my mum's house.

The first time, I only read about the spell. I barely visualised how it was to perform it, I received a phonecall from my mother telling me that a tv had blown up & there was a fire at her house (coincidentally it happened at the same time I was reading the spell).

Some years later, I decided that I was ready to do a cleansing spell, three days later, I received a phonecall from my mum telling me that at the day I did the cleansing spell, strong air had ripped off couple of windows. (BTW, my mum has no idea that I am into witchcraft).

Years later, and that's recently, things in my life weren't going good as (money wise, love wise you name it!)

I did a cleansing spell at home. This time a better one. My mum called me and she told me that she had some major problem with her teeth. I didn't connect it to the event. I wanted the misfortune to stop!

So I went to someone who specialises with witchcraft and told me that I had a malicious entity bringing misfortune in my life. I agreed then with him to do a cleansing spell.
After the cleansing, I started feeling more positive. I started receiving phone calls for jobs! My friendships were improving etc.

Then I received a phone call from my mum and she was upset. She said that at her house, an old tree was burnt by a thunder, she found a dead bird, a very favourite decorated dish she had broke and a part of her wall had some damage by the thunder that stroke the tree. That was again around the time of the cleansing.

Why are these things happening to my mum? Is there something that makes the cleansing spells backfire?

Hello there.

It might just be a coincidence and that you're connecting everything together. Have anything bad(major and/or that you would consider similar to what happened when you do cleansing) happened at another time? Another thing to look into is how safe your mother's house is(electricity, location, weather, ground, and others). For her health problem, which in this case is her teeth, it might be because she hasn't been doing proper hygiene or not getting enough nutrition. My mother has problems with her teeth after not getting enough calcium for a few months(although it was at a really low level and she wasn't eating correctly at that time) that lasts for years.

I don't know if the person you met is legit or not, but you should've done banishment then cleansing when a malicious entity is the reason of the misfortunes you and your mother are getting from the cleanings you're doing. Cleansing only cleanse whatever you're intended to cleanse and won't get rid of entities, as far as I know. After you do banishment and cleansing then you need to add some protection.

I can't really tell why they backfired, but from what I heard it might be because of your intent. Some say to not add any negatives to any intent("not"). If you're also including your mother in your intent, it might be because you don't have her consent.

What I said might be wrong, so hopefully someone who's more knowledgeable will weigh in on this situation. I hope this helps.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

These types of misfortunes don't happen at my mum's house all year round. They specifically happened during those days. The house is well maintained. My mum's oral hygiene is also really good. Her calcium levels are perfect (she recently had a general checkup on everything).

I didn't include her on my cleansings.

There was some banishing of the entities. The guy said that there were 3. He got rid of two and there was one dormant but he had to do more work to get rid of it.

The question is why all this had an effect on my mother? If she was into spellcasting I would have been suspicious that she had done something there. But she isn't..
Her sister though I know that she was into spellcasting. Same as my great grandmother.
She never got along with her sister. And she always blocked me from being too close to any of my relatives.
I know that at some point my auntie did some proper black magic spells. And she got that scared she stopped doing them.

But my mum? No. Never. I think the closest thing she ever had to witchcraft was an amulet that was given to her by my grandmother to help her have a happy marriage.

I agree with you, that is a startling chain of events, but... I've just never, ever heard of a cleanse returning negative energy, or pushing it off the way this seems to. Cleanses aren't really what we think; people tend to believe it's like washing away negative energy, pushing it out of your home or yourself like washing your hands. In reality, there is no "washing away"-- a cleanse purifies the energy you're targeting returning it to a more neutral state so that it might become positive or negative again. I hate to say it, but I think they might ACTUALLY be coincidences, albeit ill-timed ones. A cleanse at your place simply shouldn't have any affect on your mother, negatively or positively. I think you may be looking at this the wrong way; if it is some sort of malevolent spirit or thoughtform, I don't think it's attached to you, but rather your mother. I don't intend to tell you that you should or shouldn't come out of the broom closer to your mother (assuming you are, in fact, hiding it from her), but I suggest you cleanse her home, and anything she wears or interacts with regularly. Suggest she take a bath with Epsom salts; they are good for the body, after all, and it'll help in your endeavor to rid her of this string of bad luck. I hope this helps!

I suppose that would make things difficult, wouldn't it? I'm happy to hear your luck has been improving, though. Still, if nothing else, a bath in salt water might help. As a side note, unless directed specifically toward that end, no, cleansing or purifying a space does not return negative energy to the sender (at least not that I've ever heard of).

You are right.. but after all these coincidences I am feeling a little bit skeptical if I should do cleansing.
I don't want my mum's house to collapse! haha
It's better if I put up with the negative energy rather than being worried that something bad will happen to her.

Try burning sage before casting a cleansing spell. Sage is a great way to cleanse the area of negativity, while you burn it visualize all the negative energy disappearing, and positive energy coming in.

I also have to agree with Eli, I never heard of a cleansing spell that causes negative effects.
