They say it's real on Supernatural, the first episode of the third season, and yes, I believe they're real.

As for me, wow, I have no idea. Crap, I'm a mix! I'm probably mostly envy. But I could also be lust. Hell, I'm walking gluttony, and I'm totally sloth-ish. Wrath, too. And Pride. And Greed. Crap......

Oh well, I guess I'm like Dean Winchester, a walking billboard of gluttony and lust..?

But why are they "deadly"?

Because christians believe that when you physically die, you either live on in paradise, or you die for real in hell. These so-called sins are the stuff that kills you according to their concept. Oh, but as far as they're concerned, you can be a bloody saint, but still go to hell. That is, if you don't believe Jesus was the son of god. Pretty messed-up, i think.

sins is in the minds of people what may be a sin to one may be the best thing you can do but what i think it all why you do it
