None apply to my personal code of moral ethics, we each judge to ourself what is sin and what is not, in my opinion a true sin would be ignorance, arrogance, spite, these things in my eyes are a sin, the others are basic human nature, it becomes sin when taken to the extreme eg. lust moves away from love and becomes rape, Pride turns from being proud of yourself to raising yourself upon your own pedastal higher than others. Any situation where the ego controls the soul and not visa versa should or could be considered sin depending on who you ask.

They reason that the seven deadly sins are lust, pride, envy, wrath, soth, greed, and gluttony are becasue they are all things we need to do to survive, however when taken to the exstreams they become sins. We all need to eat and sleep to maintain our bodies. We all need to have love and pride in our lives to maintain or mental health. Justice needs to be served when a bad deed has been done. We all need to work and make a living, what drives that is seeing what we can have with what we make. For us to be above the animals in sophistication we need to have things, i.e. tableware, clothes, and tools.

I also find this stupid because;

No lust, no babies, no future for mankind.

No envy, well, that just kinda solves itself out. Envy is just natural.

No pride, no spirit, no feeling good about yourself, more emo people.

No wrath, no food (killing = less people to feed = more food, because recently scientists discovered that if our population keeps growing like this, we'll eventually run out of food, but since because of wars, criminality, diseases, etc. we're keeping ourselves alive)

No sloth, erm... well, actually no sloth might be good for the world...

No gluttony, no entertainment, no fun (we all need fun constantly or else there's no point in life really...)

No greed, no entertainment, same as above

"Star, what is your definition of 'sin'?"

"Can there be more than one? Sin is cruelty and injustice, all else is peccadillo. Oh, a sense of sin comes from violating the customs of your tribe. But breaking custom is not sin even when it feels so; sin is wronging another person."
Glory Road(Robert Heinlien)
