Dreams of Christ?
By:
Hello, so I will make this as straight foward as possible.

Recently I have been having back to back dreams about waking up to demonic attacks or being driven out by demons. The dream always concludes with me praying to Christ in an effort to drive them out. From what I know, these aren't actual attacks.

Here is what's confusing me.

I am Luciferian, with basic knowledge demonolgy. I have also not attended a church service in over 4 years.

Do these dreams have deeper meaning? Or are they simply my own mind playing out hypothetical scenarios.

Thank you for reading.

Dreams are an expression of, or at the very least within, your subconscious mind. The meaning of a dream, whether mundane or more, can ultimately only be known by the dreamer.

This cod easily be your mind's work, dredging old memories for evaluation for importance or current meaning to you, to store or discard certain concepts from years ago.

Orit could be a message, ifyou believe in such things. But be thorough in your investigation of the message.

It may be that you had the first of such dreams, and it bothered you so much to dream it that your subconscious is attempting to evaluate why. Or it has simply been brought to the forefront of your subconscious for a while.

It is up to you to learn what it means.

well it depends on how you feel about him really. if you hate jesus or christianity it might be something like a question of morals/faith/views over say you have zero feelings [good or bad] towards christ. christ in dreams [as with everything] is symbolic shorthand. the dream isn't telling you that you need jesus, more likely it's warning you of inner demons and your need for inner peace. christ usually represents spiritual fulfillment and praying to him signifies peace of mind. same with the demons, it represents your shadow self, or waking turmoil [even past hurt] you are struggling to accept and overcome. you pray to christ in the hope of finding inner peace. the dream in my opinion is your inner struggles trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel, not 'jesus bro'. i would try facing the demons in your waking life and trying to work through and accept them.

Aaaah. I see. I mean I am not tied down by faith. I used to be methodist and I was baptized, but that was years ago. I don't go around slandering christianity, but I despise organized religion. I sometimes wonder if I truly believe in him, I guess in my case being a luciferian, I kinda have to haha. There are so many interpretations, the main feeling in the dream is the sense of betrayal almost. Having to leave behind my faith, feeling betrayed by Lucifer, and having to pray to the one god I apposed before. The main emotion was a mixture of betrayal, coming to terms, and the "light at the end of the tunnel" analogy you used.

I apologize for the rambling. It's just stuck in my mind like a novel.

Your dream really depends on your stance with Christianity at this point, and who you talk to as well.

My thoughts (no disrespect to your beliefs) are you might be meant to exorcise demons or a demon. Which could simply mean cleansing an area, or something on a bigger scale. (Thats the Catholic in me speaking).

Or you could just be going through a life change or doubting yourself and the path you are on now. When we are afraid we return to the first thing we know that gave security. In your case, Christianity. Despite how much you've changed, that is your foundation and you are trying to cope with whatever it is.

don't worry about rambling. while i find is creepy telling strangers personal things online, it does really help dream interpretations if we understand any waking life issues.

the whole thing really sounds like an inner struggle, like you want something but you don't know what. just what didn't work and it still upsets you. if i were you i would try journaling and meditation, but also researching various paths [unless Luciferian is right for you, in which case i would try to study more about that path and get more into a routine to strengthen your connection] it might also benefit you if you found a group [online or offline] of Luciferian witches that share your views and can help you along. i'm Eclectic Wiccan [borderline Seax-Wiccan] so i can't help you beyond textbook information on your path.
