Psychic attacks

Hello, I'm looking for some guidance, or help of any kind. My boyfriend and I are both under psychic attack. He and I have been seeing each other since August, and officially became a couple last December. In the beginning, I was psychically attacked by his ex-girlfriend when she found out who he had been talking to. He lied to her and told her he stopped talking to me, and the attacks stopped. In November, he told her he was dating someone, and I didn't receive any attacks at the time. But when we became "FaceBook official" the attacks began, although I didn't realize it until only a few hours ago.

The attacks on both of us became severe a few weeks ago, when his ex called him up and told him they belonged together, and tried to convince him to dump me and come back to her. He refused, and she threatened to kill herself. She made him go into a panic attack, and left him feeling like complete garbage for an entire day. I convinced him that it's time to cut ties with her, because she's a very negative person and toxic to him. Ever since that night, he and I have both felt completely drained and depressed. I have had constant nightmares, thoughts of suicide, feelings of worthlessness, feeling like I'm being watched, and I've been feeling very ill, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to get my sickness to go away (fatigue, headaches, nausea, dizziness and cramps). And one night, I had a terrible vision that made me have a huge panic attack, which left me crying for over an hour. My boyfriend has been having sudden mood changes, depression, constant fatigue, a spotty memory, suicidal thoughts, feelings of being watched, cramps in his legs, dizziness, and he's been very accident prone lately.

I read that knowing that we're under attack diminishes the effects by at least 75%, however, I would still like to get some advice on how we can better protect ourselves. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Cussing, even if you censor part of it, is against the ToS that you agreed to when you signed up for this site.

If I was being paranoid, I probably would have jumped to this conclusion a lot sooner. We have been dealing with this issue since his ex freaked out on my boyfriend, and from all the research I have done, it seems to coincide with my suspicions. I didn't even realize a lot of what was happening to us could even be done by psychic attack until last night when I started looking up whether or not nightmares are a symptom of being psychically attacked. I do not go throughout my day thinking of his ex, and yet there she is, tormenting me in my dreams. I'm not even one to have recurring nightmares, so I find my situation very unsettling.

As for that statistic, I am simply repeating what I read from the Forever Conscious website on psychic attacks. I think what the person means is that knowing that you're being attacked puts your guard up, just as if when you're being physically attacked and you see it coming, you throw your arms up in order to protect yourself, lessening the blow. Makes sense, yes?

Are you even sure she practices magick? Do you or your boyfriend practice magick?

You don't need to practice magic in order to psychically attack someone. Most people who psychically attack others don't even realize they're doing it. I don't believe she cast a spell on us, or that we've been cursed. A psychic attack is performed when someone feels a lot of negative emotions towards specific people. They hate them, hope something bad happens to them, blah blah. This doesn't always effect the person they're thinking about. But my boyfriend and I are a bit vulnerable at the moment, and we're seeking to correct it.

He and I are both empaths and sensitive to others emotions. I have practiced magick in the past, but since I live with who I work for, I can't do a whole lot here (my boss gets angry if she smells incense or finds out I've been burning candles). He has never practiced, and I don't think he wants to get too into it (which is fine), but he does want to know more about protecting himself against others emotions since he's an empath.

You are correct one does not need to practice magick to cause a psychic attack. I was trying to determine the level at which she was working from. A magic user casting such an attack works at a different level than the average person.

I would suggest that you do a banishing, cleansing and warding of you and your boyfriend. See if this makes an impact on the situation.

Ah, I see. Yes, I'm certain she doesn't practice at all, because she got very angry with my boyfriend when he tried to talk to her about being an empath. She not only said she did't believe in that stuff, she said, "there's nothing wrong with you." She doesn't even realize that being an empath is a gift.

I didn't even think of a banishing, thank you! I'll look into it :)

Two things that are very important for any magical practitioner to learn are how to do personal shields and how to do wards of your personal space.

One of the first things many magic users will do is to create wards to prevent negative entities or energies from entering their home. After all, you want your home to be safe, psychically speaking. So it is a good idea to understand how to build effective wards and some of the various methods of achieving effective wards. Here are some sites with good information on this important topic:

https://witchesofthecraft.com/2011/03/31/protecting-yourself-and-your-home-a-basic-warding-ritual/

The other thing to learn about is how to do a personal shield. Think of a shield as being a bubble of energy that surrounds you and keeps negative energies from reaching you. Here's some good sites:

I would also highly recommend the following books:

" Psychic Self-Defense " by Dion Fortune

" Magickal Self Defense: A Quantum Approach to Warding " by Kerr Cuhulain

" The Witch's Shield: Protection Magick and Psychic Self-Defense " by Christopher Penczak

Lark covered it very well, and I haven't checked the links provided, but I wanted to add that when you do the shielding it would be prudent to not make it so that the shield cuts off your energy entirely; as that can be draining. Instead of thinking of it as a large shield, think of it as a filter. It still allows the flow of energy, while keeping what is harmful out. It is the difference between a bandage and a tourinqet, more or less.

Good luck in this, by the way. I hope all goes well.

Why do you think that your bf's ex is really attaking you?
Do you have any real evidence?

From long practise I can say that 90% of such cases have nothing to do with any magical activity, rather are pure psychology i.e. its most likely in your own heads unless you have serios facts that point otherwise.
