How to cast a spell

I need more to what people are saying is life I want to know how I myself can create and cast said created spell, life is boring me to a point I have reached multiple times of depression and going mad. I don't like any part of being human, having to follow rules of reality it is not amusing in the slightest. I often wonder why every single living thing is ok with eating, sleeping and mating a bunch and the rest of it. Please tell me there's more than just living sleeping etc, please tell me how to do as the title says

well if you want to even begin to cast spells you have to understand what a spell even is and how it works. It's usually recommend you spend a good amount of of time studying the basics before you try to cast to ensure that 1. you are safe and 2.that it will work. i suggest going to the FAQS and reading the articles about starting out and the basics such as meditation, grounding, centering, and energy manipulation. I'd personally suggest investing in a book as it will be more in depth and liable.
You must understand that magick comes from the idea of interconnectedness, that all things are tied together and that all matter has an energetic level that you can communicate with. everything is part of eachother. therefor you are apart of everything, you are the universe and energy and therefor have the power to commincate with energy to help you achieve your goals and fabricate what you aspire. Of course this means you have to get in touch with your higher self and feel this interconnection or else any spells you cast are not going to work.

If you're serious about learning how to do magic and with starting from the rock-bottom then you don't start out by casting spells, you start out by learning how and why magic works.

You see, there is no such thing as an "easy" spell or a "beginner" spell. One either understands how magic works and has mastered the basics...in which case the magic will work..or you haven't done that sort of work..and no spell will work no matter how "easy" it seems.

Casting a successful spell involves much more than finding some spell on the internet or in a book, saying some words, lighting a candle, waving a wand of any of that sort of thing. In order for magic to work you need to understand how and why it works in the first place. Grounding and centering, visualization, focus and intent, energy manipulation, etc are all necessary first steps to even begin to have a chance at a spell actually working...and more importantly to prevent a spell from back-firing on you.

So, my advice for anyone who is truly serious is to start by reading a few books and practicing the exercises those books will give you. Once you have mastered the basics you won't need anyone to give you spells, you'll be able to create your own spells that will be far more effective than anything you find on the net. Here's the books I suggest:

"Before You Cast a Spell" by Carl McColman

"Spells and How They Work" by Janet and Stewart Farrar

"The Veil's Edge" by Willow Polson

"Modern Magick" by Donald Michael Kraig

And the following links in this thread will also help you learn the basic skills necessary for effective spellwork.
