How to tell your friend?

So I became friends with a girl about my age, and we've become really close. I hate keeping this secret from her, and I've decided I'm going to tell her, but I don't know how. Can you help me?

Start with what you know about them. I have two very close christian friends (for example) and when Itold them, I ask them if they believed (as they had told me before) that God is everywhere and that life was everywhere. They said of course and I told them "me too. Life is everywhere. The energy involved with living is everywhere. I believe in that energy." That started the conversation. 1 was more taken aback than the other but both came to terms with it.

You clearly trust your friend, you're close. I bet you know exactly how to tell her in an understanding way. Remember, we don't have to tell others everything, they just have to accept us as we are. If not, there's a pretty large world out there (even if it feels small right now).
