Try meditating, light some candles, I don't think color matters, light some incense if you have some, if not scent candles work too. Now while meditating with your eyes closed, focus on your surroundings, stay in a comfortable posture, come up with a phrase to calm you, repeat that word. Allow your third eye to open and survey the room you are in.
