Last month, I dreamt of this strange woman named "ezerlie frieda" she told me not to give up on someone i had strong feelings for to go for it. She was very sensual and beautiful. Im a wiccan and dont understand why she would approach me. Ive had some others do simularly in the past to give advice. One was named baron samedi the other maman brigette. Can you help me figure out why they do this? Im grateful for the advice but curious why theyd come to me in dreams?

Perhaps this is a way that she's calling out to you. She seems interested in you for some reason. Start working with her to see where this could head.

Dreams are a way of communication between deity and follower. My gods do it with me very often. It's some in the form of runes, other times, they have a reccuring theme to it.

Good luck to you.

She's probably curious about you, try dreaming about her again, seeing what she says and listen to her advice.

I dream about Anubis, it's his way to communicate with me, and I have always listen to his advice.

They could be ancestors, or people that you have known in a past life( if you dont believe in reincarnation ignore that last part) I have had experiences with the later of the two, while my fiance regularly gets advice from his ancestors. Good luck!!

Lwa are spirits, there are many different kinds of spirits across a vast sea of cultures and traditions. Just because you follow one tradition does not mean that spirits and beings from around the world do not exist.

If these particular lwa are reaching out to you then there is a reason. First I recommend that you learn about them, and the lwa overall. Second once you become familar enough with the knowledge perhaps try making an offering to each of the lwa, each lwa will require or prefer different kinds of offerings to appease and attract them, this is a gesture of respect and honor and the act of you reaching out to them will also be appreciated.

Be careful not to offend them, as the lwa can be very chaotic and loose with their mood.

After making offerings to them, reach out with your spirit and ask them questions, be specific as they are known to also be loose and tricky with their words; however inquire about why they are specifically reaching out to you, what their interest in you is, and what guidance do they have to offer in whichever particular and specific area/s you need help with.

I also recommend making a talisman, sigil, circle of protection when working with them or when working with any spirit/s or being/s. Sometimes when working with spirits, dieties, and such other spirits, beings, and sorts may be attracted to that personal connection and may come around uninvited. If you need any further assistance feel free to ask us.

I read the comments above I do not recomend serving her until you have gotten a Leyson. Ezili Freda is a very complex and does not come down easily even those who she walks with. Always get a reading before serving any spirits. Freda isnt what allot of people put her to be all sensual and happy helping everyone. Freda is a difficult spirit to deal with especially when you are in a relationship. Freda is a very jelous spirit and always wants things her way. Freda is a powerful mambo which is why those that have her are cautious around her.

Bazir. the Lwa are very strong spirits a circle of protection will not protect you from the lwa or any talisman as the Lwa are not like other spirits they are extremely elevated which protection talismans have little to no effect on them.

@Vodouisant

I was not suggesting using protection agaisnt the Lwa but against other spirits or beings that are attracted to the presence of the Lwa.

Secondly, I was not suggesting that Lillipoppy change her spiritual beliefs or practices and to start practicing Vodoun or to serve any of the Lwa. I only suggested that she learn about the Lwa and then reach out to them to ask why they are interested in her and what they want with her.

Thanks for the advice everyone! Its been a crazy week so I didnt have time to say how much I really appreciate everyones input ont this. I dont want to involve myself with them because they are very capricious and ive read they do things for their own benefits without giving the real reason as to why. However, I was wondering if maybe anyone else has simular experiences so maybe i can get a feel for them.

Simply because a Lwa has "appeared" to you, does not mean that you immideatly begin serving or putting offerings for them, this is a common misconception that there is around Vodou. Unlike other traditions where if a deity presents themselves to you, it could be them reaching you to work with them; in Vodou, it is not like that.

The only sure way to know if a Lwa would like to work with you is through a reading with a Mambo or Houngan, as there they would determine if the Lwa is within your spiritual court and they are actually interested in working with you. If by any means, you do attempt to work with them guiding yourself by signs or by how much your attracted to them; they will either ignore you completely or you will anger them
