I remember one time when I was about 8 or 9 I communicated with a little girl not much older than me, she said her name was Alanna, Alaina or Elaine, something like that. This was the first time I had communicated with a spirit properly. I asked her if she was my my friend or a guardian angel, she said yes. But she communicated in a strange way to me. By accident really. She shook the light bulb. 2 times for yes, 1 time for no. I could only hear faint whispers but she was sending me lots of signs like falling books and feathers too. That was the first ever proper experience that sticks with me. And the peculiar thing is, the light bulb still shakes! But with other spirits too not just her. I dont even know if she's around anymore, I dont know if I should try communicate or not, but that's another story anyways :)

I remember one afternoon, no one was home for hours and i decided to burn a long stick of incense in my room by an open window.
After a while i began to notice smaller smoky shapes in the smoke that were a constant and didnt lose their shape and seemed to just be floating all about and playing with it.
They were air elementals or fairies of some type i think. they were so cute and a lot of fun to play with by moving or pushing around the smoke with my fingers gently.

At this point, direct interactions, experiences, and alliances with spirits are more than just a part of my daily routine, and there are many spirits that I work on on a level closer than with most humans, which really says a lot.

And I have worked with a fairly long list of entities, so it's pretty hard to pinpoint more exact experiences with exact entities. I have worked closely with things that range from fairies to rakshasa, angels to demons, gods to parasites, oversouls to aspects of myself, and everything in between.

So I will make posts here, but more as tributes to my allies when I am happy with them, than to brag about my friendships.

well even though i haven't talked about him in a while, i'm sure some older members remember Rori. i was 13 when i first met him. while in my bedroom one night i sensed a spirit come in from my window, we talked for a bit and i invited him to stay. i asked him what his name was, he told me to guess, i said 'Rori' and he said that worked lol. i lived with Rori for over 10 years until we moved. he stayed with me for the first few months, but one day i had to walk past my old house and he could sense a child living in the new place so he decided to move back into the old house. haven't seen him in 3 years, hope he isn't causing too much trouble.

he's a real prankster [some times i worried he was a demon] he hated my mom and sister, whenever i wasn't around he would do things to scare them. one time i was out with my [now ex] boyfriend who Rori hated [only time we had a fight. threw a cereal box at my head the goon] so when i came home all the lights were on in the house. turns out he was pacing the hallway all night and standing over my sisters bed demanding to know when i would be home. she was so terrified she turned on all the lights in the house. i can still picture opening the door and her running towards me 'thank god you're home! do something about Rori!' lmao, i feel bad he was so mean but on the other hand i can't help but laugh.

i've dealt with many spirits growing up, but Rori was the one i knew the best, i only saw him manifest once for a second [so i'm not sure if i really did see him] normally i saw him as a shadow [kind of like the spirit in The Conjuring. it was hilarious watching it the first time with friends and the girls new ghost friend was 'Rory' everyone turned and looked at me lol] he said it wasn't because he didn't have the energy, it was because he didn't like people knowing where he was. [it was also why he hated my cat, since he could see Rori]

i have so many stories over those years it's hard to pick one. i'm so use to spirits it's odd for me to live somewhere without them [currently i don't have any spirits living with me] i remember one Yule my coven was over and my one covenmate came back from the bathroom and said 'not to alarm you, but are you aware there's a spirit in your hallway?' and i explained she was a little girl who liked playing hide and seek, he asked what her name was and in unison everyone said 'Elmira'. we didn't stop and think about it, we just all got this feeling that was her name and blurted it out at the exact same time. it was funny, but creepy. Elmira liked standing over my sister at night. there were a few times she would grab my sisters hand and ask her to play. my sister would scream her head off, so she began sleeping with her hands under her pillow so Elmira couldn't grab them. she wasn't evil, just a 7 year old who wanted to play. we moved away a few years later, i think she still lives there, and i hope the new people have a child she can play with.
