can you befriend demons?

I'm confused some of the stuff I see and read say demons are bad Christianity etc. But some of the stuff I see and read say they can be good. I really want the chance to befriend a demon. Some of the stuff I read say demons are like humans they aren't good or bad any advice how befriend a demon or get it to respect me?

demons can not be trusted and a demon will never respect you. you can call on one to serve you but they know no loyalty if not done right the spell that you use to call it can backfire and then it will jump on you and that would not be good

Of course you can! In fact, my best friend is a Demoness, I consider her more than best friend, like my my sister and something else. We have a strong bond... Well Christianity isn't very accurate to be honest...

Demons have different personalities, like we do. Some are in mood of friendships with others not. I strongly disagree with Lissa. Most Demons will respect you if you respect them. Demons do not get summoned to "serve" you, you may call them for a favour or to talk. These kind of spells which call upon Demons are called "summonings" they do not backfire. Demons are indepedant creatures, they can surely though be your friend and be "loyal" to you. Well it depends on which way you mean that "loyal"...

Thank you Ioakimeim(sorry if I spelled your name wrong) I was starting to lose hope about befriending a demon. Do you have any suggestions about what demon I should befriend it would be helpful. Thank you again:)

The answer is a resounding yes. The very word daemon meant a beneficial spirit and many demons were other spirits like godforms.

Demonism itself is more of a title, rather than a real species name.
