For the purpose of ceremonial magick, which would be the best language to learn: Hebrew or Latin? I know many forms of magick, such as Qabalah and the Goetia, are based around Hebrew; however, many journals are written in Latin, even John Dee wrote portions of his diaries in Latin.

The best language is probably the one you feel most comfortable using, if you feel naturally drawn to Hebrewover Latin, then you have your answer, but if you are not able to easily read or understand these languages then your native language may be the best way to go, there is no harm in doing them in another language than those commonly found in the books you have read as long as you can understand what you are saying, and feel connected to what you are doing.
