I know this dosent have anything to do with magick but, is it ok if I listen to binauarl beats whilst doing other tasks? For example, listening to beats while playing a game or reading a book.

Will I still recieve full effects?

Not a good idea. Bineral beats tend to calm you, possibly can make you fall asleep.

I would think that you should be focusing on the beat while meditating for the full effect. However I do not see any harm in listening to it while going about your day. Just make sure that you are not listening to one meant to put you to sleep while doing dangerous activities such as driving.

Word of caution. Binaural beats effectively alter our brain waves. While considered safe, they could be detrimental to those with medical and or psychological issues.

Although research has been sketchy and inconclusive, I have found binaural beats and isochronic tones to be helpful in dealing with some issues and inducing certain frames of mind. They rightfully warn against using them while performing certain tasks such as driving. For your purposes, listening to nature sounds, ambient music, or a white noise might be a better choice.

Thanks for allteh answers guys!

Quick question though. Would I be able to listen to chakra-opening beats while sleeping/trying to sleep?
