I consider myself an energy worker as I work with different kinds of energy and also practice healing. The energy workers were known as the healers of tribes because they could see the paths of energy inside other people's bodies and the energy around them, with that knowledge they could change the structure of the energy to make a "miracle" their job was to heal the warriors and hunters of their tribe when they were injured.

Now we don't need tribes or healers but it still good to heal painful diseases, muscular problems and slightly recovering the sight for those that can't see very well.

I practice Northern Tradition Shamanism and Norse paganism. I consider myself a heathen in the most general sense. I would say I have strong ties to Rokkatru. I also sometimes consider myself a Lokean.

Loki is one of the main deities I work with and honor, though I honor many others. Some of those include:Fenrir, Mimir, Surtr, Rindr, Angrboda, Aegir, Ran and the Wave Maidens. I try to do daily devotionals for the Gods or wights. I work closely with nature and honor the landvaettir. I also honor and work with some of the more primal and elemental jotnar. I am particularly fascinated with the sea, bodies of water, and spirits which inhabit them.

My practice varies. I enjoy exploring altered states of consciousness, trancework in general, different projection methods, seidhr and galdr, berserkergangr. I do what feels right at the time.

I have no path yet, I do have an interests in learning got a few books on the craft mostly wicca/ pagan stuff and a few shaman books. I am also interested in learning the other aspect aka darker side. Not to feel more powerful or cool just to know for myself.

I am eclectic, and that's probably the best way to describe it.

Human labels don't exactly work for me.

I don't exactly have a path yet either. I still consider myself new to Wicca as I've only been exploring it for a few months now. I'm just kind of seeing what I vibe with at the moment. As of right now I would definitely call myself contemporary.

I consider myself a truth seeker and let go of all other labels. That way whatever I learn, like attracts like and so the truth seeker finds truth. In the end that is the only thing concerning my path that is ultimately important to me. Especially when delving into the murky occult depths.
My one rules is.... if you have to label yourself, make sure the label is incorruptible. Names have power. Naming/labeling yourself contains the seed to manifest your future and can even be the cage you lock yourself in.
In this path, I have found truths that turn to lies when you move past them. I have found truth in lies as well. It is an interesting journey where you feel like you are forever peeling layers of illusion off of your eyes. There has been times when I have felt the ground beneath my feet turn upside down. Those were painful because I would feel so insecure but I would be able to see life better. I would gain another door to higher plain of consciousness where the rules and the facts were different.
If there is one thing I have learnt is to get used to admitting that I was wrong or what I believed in was false.

I wouldn't personally follow that not labelling rule, but whatever works for you works for you.

Thanks for replying.

i am a believer in most religions, as well as science. i want to learn more about the religions of the world and have always been fascinated with magic. i am currently exploring this site to see if i can give my belief an actual name as well as practice simple spells and learn my relations. Rick Riordan and Harry Potter have been huge influences over these views.
