My problem is that I can only see ghosts at night. In the day I can sense harmful ghosts and telepathically communicate with them, but no sight. In the middle of the night, I can see them, and most of them give me that feeling that they are harmful. They say my name over and over again.
more often than not spirits are empty threats.
Evil has a hold of you that which you allow it to grasp.

yes, you could clense I suppose, or even draw in positive energy though to be honest, I've never been a positive thinker, reminds me too much of the song. If you're really that freeked, a protection ritual may be the thing for you.
Ghost's and spirits are just like humans. Some are nice, others are in between and some are hateful. They can always hear you, even if you cannot see them physically. So speak to them whenever you wish. You can even meditate on them or call out.
BUT ... I would also suggest learning how to ground,center and shield/protect yourself. Such as burning sage, saying prayers, surrounding yourself with as much love light an positivity as possible. wearing protective colors such as gold,silver,violet and blue. Keep hydrated. wear or use protective crystals with a protective quality such as : amethyst, lapis lazuli, sugilite, laramar, gold tigers eye,hawks eye,blue tigers eye. You can also use or wear symbols for protection as well. Visualization is a great tool as well. For example take a few minutes before talking to ghosts or when they are trying to contact you to just relax close your eyes and image a ball of white light surrounding you. Imagine it being filled with love and everything positive, that will protect you.

First, you take control. Get your fear level down, as this only adds power to them. You have more power than you think.
Ground and center yourself. Meditate to gain focus (I have one on my profile),then, I would suggest a cleansing, to rid any negative everything in your home. Use a method you feel comfortable with. It's your home; your rules. Then some protection in the form of crystals, ritual, or whichever you feel best using.
When you are finished, you will get a calming feeling, like peaceful and warm. There, you did it!
A weekly self cleansing, along with habit of grounding and daily meditation, will keep you in control of your feelings. Stay positive and thankful, with much love. BB
